Mohini Saves the Day
Vishnu took a beautiful form called Mohini, a lovely
maiden. She appeared before the demons, who were
amazed by her beauty.
Mohini said gently, “I will serve the drink. But you must
sit quietly in a line.”
The demons agreed.
Mohini served the amrita only to the gods. The demons
did not realize what was happening until it was too late.
The gods regained their strength, and peace returned
to heaven.
Moral of the Story
Goodness, teamwork, and patience bring great
rewards. Even big problems can be solved with wisdom
and courage.
A Note for the Reader
Sometimes we must work together, just like the gods
and demons did, even with people who are different
