Everyone watched in amazement. Each treasure was
more wonderful than the last.
But the most important treasure was still hidden deep
inside.
The Pot of Amrita
Finally, after a long time, a pot of glowing golden liquid
emerged. This was amrita, the drink of strength and
immortality.
Both gods and demons wanted it.
A new problem began - who should drink the amrita?
The demons grabbed the pot first and refused to
share.
The gods became worried again.
