Let us prepare our fingers for writing by doing some finger gym exercises.

             Join the tip of your thumb to

               the tip of your first finger,                          then your second finger,

                   then, the third finger,                              and the fourth finger.


           Variations


           1  Try finger pinching with one hand at a time.

           2  Try it with closed eyes.

           Repeat these actions 5 times.











          Do these exercises with your child every day. This helps in strengthening the small muscles
          and prepares the child for writing.
